NASA SEES PEER MENTOR
Eclipse Ballooning Team
Worked with 18 students and helped them with their project. Developed a payload using a Raspberry Pi to measure temperature and atmospheric pressure and using a camera. Launched balloon and collected data. Launching further developed payload for the October 2023 and April 2024 annular and total solar eclipses.
Helped students write a research paper, submit an abstract to the American Geophysical Union fall session, create a poster, and prepare their symposium presentation. Co-author on paper and AGU presentation.

2023-2024 Season
Team 23240 The Shooting Stars. Programming mentor, work with teaching the girls the basics of Java and Object Oriented Programming, as well as PID control, computer vision, and other autonomous robot control

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) SUMMER CAMP
Hosted an all-girls FLL robotics summer camp for 5 girls. Taught basics of building and programming using Lego Mindstorms and EV3.
3D ANIMATION SUMMER CAMP
Hosted a 3D animation summer camp and all of the proceeds were donated to the Central Texas Food bank for Pandemic relief. Created curriculum and taught 5 girls to 3D model, texture, UV map, rig, and animate in Blender.
